What It Can Help With
Microneedling is often chosen by people who want to improve the look and feel of their skin without going straight to something more aggressive. Here are some of the most common concerns it may help with.
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Helps support collagen production, which can soften the look of lines and wrinkles over time.
Acne Scarring
Often used to help improve the look of acne scars by supporting collagen remodeling in the skin.
Sun Damage and Uneven Pigmentation
Supports skin renewal, which can help improve uneven tone, dullness, and visible sun damage over time.
Stretch Marks
Helps improve the appearance of stretch marks by encouraging collagen production in the affected skin.
Skin Texture and Visible Pores
Helps skin look smoother and more even, and may also reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.
Skin Laxity
Helps support firmer-looking skin by encouraging the production of collagen and elastin.
Ideal For: All skin tones & types
Not Recommended For: Active acne · Open skin lesions · Certain skin conditions

The treatment uses a microneedling pen fitted with fine, sterile needles. During your appointment, the pen is moved across the treatment area to create thousands of tiny, controlled punctures in the upper layers of the skin.
Most people need a series of treatments to get the best results. We typically recommend 3 to 5 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, depending on your skin and what you're looking to improve.

I absolutely love FaBesthetics! From my first appointment with Becky I have felt comfortable, confident, and amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I have done laser hair removal treatments and most recently a Dermaplaning Facial. Everything is very clean and the environment is very relaxing and soothing! My skin feels absolutely amazing and clear and I actually have been able to leave the house without makeup. I haven't had the confidence to do that in over 20 years. I highly recommended Becky - she is absolutely amazing ❤️

Best spa I've encountered, her lasers and facials actually show fabulous results unlike other places! She knows her stuff. And she makes you feel so comfortable, like an old pal. I can't get enough of going there; it's not only fun but I look better and better every treatment. Prices are totally competitive!

Depending on your skin concern, one of these might work well alongside microneedling or as an alternative worth considering.
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild prickling, noticeable but generally well tolerated. Some areas of the face are more sensitive than others, so you may feel more in certain spots than others during the session. The discomfort is typically brief and settles as the treatment moves along. If you have a low pain threshold or are concerned about sensitivity, just mention it at your consultation and we'll make sure you're comfortable before we start.
Downtime is minimal. Most clients experience redness for a few hours to a day after treatment and can return to their normal routine relatively quickly. Strenuous exercise, heat and active skincare should be avoided for 24 to 48 hours.
You may notice an initial glow shortly after your first session as circulation improves and the skin begins its repair process. But meaningful results like improved texture, reduced scarring and softer lines develop over weeks as new collagen continues to form. Most clients see noticeable improvement after two to three sessions, with full results becoming visible in the weeks following their final session.
The recommended course is 3 to 5 sessions, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. The right number depends on your skin concern and how your skin responds. Your consultation will give you a clearer picture of what to expect for your specific goals.
Yes. One of the advantages of microneedling over some laser treatments is its lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which makes it a suitable option for a wider range of skin tones.
In some cases, yes. Your consultation will help determine whether a combined approach makes sense for your specific skin concern and goals.
Microneedling is not recommended for clients with active acne, open skin lesions or certain skin conditions, or those who are pregnant. Your consultation is the right time to go through your full skin history so we can confirm whether it's the right treatment for you.
They're not the same treatment. Traditional microneedling focuses on creating controlled micro-punctures in the skin to support collagen production. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy into the process and is generally considered the more advanced option for deeper rejuvenation concerns. Both are available at FaBesthetics. If you're not sure which one fits your skin or your goals, that's exactly what the consultation is for.
Your consultation with Becky costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It's just a chance to talk through what's been on your mind and find out what's actually possible.
