We start every new client relationship with a free consultation, not as a formality, but because we genuinely need to understand what’s bothering you before we can tell you what’ll actually help. We’ll ask questions most people don’t think to ask, look at your skin or body, and then build a plan that’s specific to you.
FaBesthetics has been serving Mahopac and the wider Westchester area since 2019. The client base has grown steadily since day one, almost entirely through word of mouth.
How We Got Here
Becky spent nearly 2 decades working in medical aesthetics before she opened FaBesthetics in 2019. She’d built clinical experience across some of the industry’s most respected practices, developed a loyal client base, and learned exactly what a great spa experience looks like, and what a mediocre one feels like.
When she finally went out on her own, her clients came with her. And the philosophy she built FaBesthetics around was the same one she’d always worked by: find out what the person actually needs, build a plan around that, and don’t stop until the result is there.
Our spa sits on South Lake Boulevard, right on Lake Mahopac. It’s calm, clean, and runs entirely by appointment. That last part matters because it’s how Becky makes sure she has the time to do every treatment properly, without rushing on to the next person.

Becky Pfeifer, BSN, is the founder, owner, and she’s been in medical aesthetics for over 18 years. Before FaBesthetics, she worked at Laser Luxury and with Groupe Clarins, two very different environments that gave her a wide clinical foundation and a clear sense of how she wanted to practise. She trained as a medical esthetician and has spent almost her entire career in skin and body care.
But honestly, the credentials are secondary to how she actually works. Becky doesn’t walk new clients through a menu and book whatever fits the schedule. She sits with you first. Asks what’s been bothering you, what you’ve already tried, what you’re hoping to see change. Then she tells you what she thinks will actually get you there, not what’s easiest to sell.
And if a treatment needs more time than the clock allows, she takes the time. She’s said it herself: when a client walks out that door and looks in the mirror, she wants them to notice a difference. That’s the bar. Every appointment, every time.

Before anything gets booked, Becky wants to understand what you’re dealing with and what result you’re after. It’s free, it takes as long as it needs, so we can map out what body or skin treatment options will work for you.
No two clients leave with the same treatment plan. Becky looks at your skin, your goals, and your history, and builds something specific. There’s no standard package for a reason.
If your treatment needs more time, it gets more time. Becky doesn’t charge extra for it, and she doesn’t cut corners to keep the schedule moving. You leave when the job is done.
That’s the whole point. Clients come back because they see a difference, not eventually, but after the appointment. Becky holds herself to that standard, and it shows in the reviews.
